Remote Access
The Extended Enterprise Has Created
Extended Vulnerabilities

The Problem
Today’s workforce has become increasingly more distributed with employees conducting business from client sites, company branches and home offices as well as wireless hot spots at hotels and airports. Additionally, mobile workers are demanding the same level of access to systems and data as those back at the office.

But there are dangers. Laptops get lost, or stolen with sensitive information on them. Home computers are often loaded with spyware and even viruses. While these remote workers raise business productivity, they also add to a company’s risk.

Because remote workers lie beyond the enterprise network, they are not protected by security measures such as perimeter firewalls, intrusion detection devices and proxy servers. Allowing these compromised systems to connect to corporate resources can open the entire corporation to infection and compromise.

Equally important, because these individuals are often dealing with proprietary information that is regulated by Federal and industry privacy laws, companies are faced with the difficult problem of positive identification of individuals remotely accessing this critical data.

Products
Strikeforce offers a variety of products to protect remote workers accessing corporate networks via VPN (IPsec or SSL), Citrix (nFuse, Web Interface or MSAM) or 802.1x networks such as Wi-Fi.

ProtectID™
ProtectID™ is the strongest authentication platform in the world. Built using the concept of ‘Out-of-Band,’ usernames and passwords are separated and sent to the host server via separate channels.  The platform  offers  many types of authentication methods (Fingerprint, Iris, Smartcard, Tokens, SSL_Password, Phones etc.).  The platform’s open platform architecture seamlessly integrates into any existing computing environment via agents including Web Agent, RADIUS Agent, and Citrix Agent.

GuardedID™
GuardedID™ creates a 128 bit encrypted separate pathway for information delivery from a keyboard to a targeted application at a local computer. It eliminates any chance of spyware/malware being used to collect user information. GuardedIDTM stays in effect during an application session so that “ALL” entered information is encrypted and protected.

TrustedID
TrustedID validates the authenticity of any computer trying to login to your enterprise network or web service giving you a “trusted computing environment.” System works by checking for a unique device “ID” that is machine specific. TrustedID also protects the environment being from being spoiled by malware/spyware and further secures, by personal firewall, end user data being secretly transmitted to spyware servers.

“More than one quarter of the U.S. workforce currently telecommutes and is projected to rise significantly over the next five years."
Cahners In-Stat

25% of the U.S. Workforce currently telecommutes.

By 2005, nearly 50 million U.S. workers will access corporate networks from remote locations.

Remote connectivity used primarily to read e-mail. Today's mobile workforce is now accessing sensitive databases and transferring confidential files.
